Terms & disclaimers
This website describes a concept. It is not a booking system, and using it does not create a contract for transportation.
No service is operating
Vols Robotaxis is an early-stage concept in development. No rides are available today. No launch date, service area, fare, vehicle partner, or regulatory approval has been announced or should be inferred from anything on this site. Descriptions of the intended rider experience are goals, not commitments, and may change or be abandoned.
No affiliation
Vols Robotaxis is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the University of Tennessee, Tennessee Athletics, Tesla, Inc., the City of Knoxville, the State of Tennessee, or any transit authority or government agency.
Trademarks
Product, company, and organization names used on this site are the property of their respective owners. Any such name is used only to describe or refer to that party, and its use does not imply endorsement or any commercial relationship. We do not use the University of Tennessee's marks or Tesla, Inc.'s marks as our own branding.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist reserves nothing, guarantees nothing, and costs nothing. It signs you up to hear from us. It creates no right to a ride, to early access, or to any particular price if a service ever launches. We may close or retire the waitlist at any time. See our privacy policy for what we do with your address.
Accuracy
We aim to keep this site accurate, but it is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We may change or remove any part of it at any time without notice.
Third-party links
Where we link out — for example to the photographer of the Knoxville skyline image — we do not control and are not responsible for that content.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vols Robotaxis is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
